PowerPoint or poster presentation

Allocations

All submitted abstracts are subjected to acceptance or rejection based on several eligibility requirements. All accepted abstracts are allocated to either PowerPoint presentation or poster presentation based on but no limited to merit, novelty and significance of the scientific evidence.

– Presentations are on the form of soft copy PowerPoint.
– Posters to be printed (Hard-copy) in an appropriate readable size (90cm height *65cm width portrait style)

Important notice:

MDSC is marching towards a more sustainable and environment-friendly illustrating platform. Upon the availability of certain venues, we will shift the poster presentations to flash presentations where every participant will have a designated electronic corner that enables illustrations via large Smart-TVs or Smart-Proxima.

Poster dimensions.
Note that all participant who are allocated for poster presentations are kindly asked to submit 5 OMR for printing charges. MDSC organisation is and delighted to be committed to refund the 5 OMR if a funding was granted for the printing fees.

PowerPoint/Poster guidelines

  • Summarizing research project/case description, methods and study designs, major results, discussion, conclusion and recommendations. Structure of the poster/PowerPoint carry no specific format, use your own fingerprints to reveal a unique creativeness of a scientific style.
  • Be creative, and cover background with aims and objectives, case presentation (in case of case reports), methodology, results, discussion (significance of your data) and conclusion. And another essential information, try to capture the whole picture from different angles not only your side as medicine, perhaps including the diagnostic tests and their significance in your final diagnosis and your therapeutic decision in general.
  • Kindly anonymized all data in your presentation (no patient identifiers such as names, ID sample ID are allowed).
  • Mind the presence of references at the end of your presentation.
  • We trust that your presentation would be based on the ethical codes and principles of research and that Iwe don’t need to review it so Iwe can enjoy fully during the delivery of your scientific art.
  • If your presentation caries pictures of the participant, kindly submit an informed consent approving that your participant is aware and in agreement that part of his/her body/clinically related, is to be presented in the presentation.
  • If you demand a ready, valid and approved consent paper, kindly do not hesitate to contact MDSC team so we can provide you with one copy.
  • If your participants are not able not consent, a rightful guardian should consent in behalf of him/her otherwise should be excluded
